Pevlings Farm Riding & Livery Stables has been providing friendly, family-focused riding instruction since 1985. Situated in the beautiful Somerset countryside near Templecombe, the centre offers a relaxed and welcoming environment where riders of all ages and abilities can enjoy learning to ride and develop their confidence with horses.
The riding school caters particularly for leisure riders, welcoming complete beginners through to more experienced riders. Lessons are available for children and adults on carefully selected horses and ponies, with private and group tuition delivered by knowledgeable, experienced instructors. Facilities include three floodlit outdoor arenas, show jumps, cross-country schooling fences and opportunities for hacking on quiet country lanes and bridleways. Pony Club activities, children’s holiday sessions and a range of horse care experiences are also available throughout the year.
Alongside the riding school, Pevlings Farm offers a small, friendly DIY and Assisted DIY livery yard with excellent facilities. Liveries benefit from quality stabling, year-round riding facilities, secure tack storage, grazing, daily horse care assistance where required and the reassurance of experienced staff living on site. The yard combines a supportive atmosphere with practical facilities to help owners enjoy their horses while balancing everyday commitments.
As an ABRS+ Approved Riding Establishment, British Horse Society Approved Centre, Pony Club Linked Centre and RDA Approved Centre, Pevlings Farm is committed to providing high standards of horse welfare, customer care and professional instruction in a safe, friendly and enjoyable environment.
