The ABRS+ Winter Jumping Championship will be run remotely on the Equi-Rider platform (www.equi-rider.com/en), have three 3 classes (40cm, 60cm and 80cm) and be run in 3 stages (January, February and March 2024).
Using Equi-Rider will allow ABRS+ members to participate in this fun competition but without the need to travel. All you need to provide is the arena (40m x 20m), 17 poles and 12 stands and we will provide you with a diagram of the jumping courses that will allow competitors to jump the same course in each class – no matter where the ABRS+ member is located. You video, time and judge each participant jumping the course on your phone, pay the entry fee and upload the video, time and penalties. Equi-Rider will verify and validate all entries and the results will be published on the Equi-Rider website and the ABRS+ Facebook Page.
At the end of each Stage, riders will be award competition points based on the best entry that they submitted in that stage. Prizes will be awarded at a prize giving ceremony for the best 8 riders in each class. Competition points will also accumulate across the 3 stages, leading to an eventual overall winner in each class and prizes for the best 3 riders in each class. We have over £2500 of prizes to give out, with prizes in the form of vouchers that can be spend online for saddlery or riding items (with a choice of prizes for riders). The riding school with the highest points will also receive a prize.
Entries will cost £7 per entry, but it will be up to ABRS+ members to decide how clients are charged.
