Arena UK 2nd November 2026

The conversation around the future of riding schools has never been more important. Following growing awareness around ethical equestrianism and the increasing focus on horse welfare, it is clear that successful riding schools of the future must place the wellbeing of the horse at the heart of everything they do.
But a thriving riding school depends on more than happy, healthy horses. It also depends on the people who care for them and the businesses that provide the foundations for excellent welfare. The future of our industry relies on supporting business owners, leaders, coaches and teams to build resilient, sustainable and forward-thinking riding schools.
Following last year’s focus on equine welfare, the 2026 ABRS+ Conference will explore the next step in creating truly thriving riding schools: how we look after the horse, the people and the business together.
Through inspiring talks, practical workshops and shared experiences from across the industry, we will explore the key ingredients that help riding schools succeed, including leadership, managing teams, building positive cultures, setting boundaries with customers, embracing innovation and creating sustainable business models.
We will also celebrate the learning from the ABRS+ Futures Project, hearing from riding schools and community centres who have explored new ways of working, reaching their communities and creating positive change. Their experiences will provide practical ideas that delegates can take back and apply within their own businesses.
Alongside expert speakers, interactive roundtables and industry discussions, delegates will have the opportunity to connect with fellow riding school owners, coaches and professionals, sharing ideas and finding solutions to the challenges facing our sector.
Whether you run a riding school, lead a team, teach, support the industry or care deeply about the future of equestrianism, this conference is designed to provide the inspiration, knowledge and practical tools needed to create a stronger, healthier and more sustainable future.
Join us this November for Thriving Together: Horse & Business Owner, a conference focused on creating riding schools where horses are respected, people are supported and businesses are able to flourish.
The Conference can be used for Continuing Professional Development; Certificates of Attendance provided to all delegates.
