Open Day and Workshop on Community Interest Companies

This Open Day and Workshop on Community Interest Companies (CIC) is intended for Proprietors of Riding Establishments, and will help you:

  • If you are thinking of setting up a CIC, decide if this is would be right for you.
  • If you already have a CIC, network, share ideas and discuss issues.

Andrew Stennett runs Grove House Stables LLP and I-Pegasus CIC alongside each other as mutually supportive businesses. The Event will include a look around Andrew’s Riding Establishment and the chance to ask Andrew questions on his business setup. We will then run a facilitated workshop to allow you to explore how a CIC might work for you. By the end of the Event, you should go away with a better understanding of the pros and cons of CICs, why and how you might set up a CIC, how it might work in the context of your Riding Establishment, and an action plan on what to do next.
