Membership Manager

 20 – 24 hours pw, Salary £30K – £40k FTE + bonus

 The Association of British Riding Schools+ is a registered charity, the UK’s only organisation that focuses solely on supporting and promoting the interests of professional proprietors of equestrian establishments. This is a very interesting period to join the ABRS+ as our membership is growing, there is increasing demand for our webinars and services plus our events are well attended. This organisational growth enables personal and professional development in the role.

We are looking for a Membership Manager, based at our office near Horsham, West Sussex, four days a week, hybrid working available if/when possible.   This is a key role for the ABRS+ contributing to the on-going development of the organisation. Responsibilities include leading a small team, and  enjoying the interaction with Members to:

The ABRS+ offers a wide variety of membership services which the successful candidate should enjoy the challenge of this variety. The role is supported by the Membership Support Officer and liaises closely with the Training and Projects Manager.

To be successful candidates should have good leadership and organisational skills, IT literacy and Microsoft proficiency. Experience of marketing, sales, customer service and/or a professional equestrian background helpful.

Members Assistant

An Equestrian Charity, the ABRS+, based in Shipley West Sussex,  has an opportunity for a Members Assistant to join the office team.   The ABRS+ is a Membership Organisation for Riding Schools, Livery Yards and Equestrian Centres. Our Members purchase certificates and rosettes for their clients from our organisation.

For this new role, working with the Membership Support Officer, the main duties are:

For the above being able to deliver the packages safely to the Post Office is part of the role so car driver preferred.

Demand for our orders is growing though the volume varies. The hours are flexible, according to need and will be by arrangement.  The role would suit an applicant with a busy life. Rates of Pay, per hour are:

Age 21+ £11.44                   Age 18-20 £8.60                 Under 18  £6.40
