Trentvalley Equestrian Centre is a family run business which was established in 1958 and has been operating from its present location since 1990.

It is run by director Rose Wilson with a team of six full-time and seven part-time staff. The staff all have equine qualifications ranging from BHSAI equine degrees to NVQ assessors.

With Trentvalley being one of the biggest riding yards in Nottinghamshire, with the riding school, livery yard and event centre we pride ourselves in making your visit relaxed and enjoyable.

From first nervous moments in the saddle being led on the lead rein, the Trentvalley staff encourages and support every rider to take the next step out of their comfort zone bringing a real sense of achievement at every level. Frowns of apprehension soon dissolve into smiles of pride and self-belief. But riding isn’t just about what happens in the saddle.

Every rider learns about the benefits of learning to care for a horse. Tasks such as filling nets, mucking out, grooming or cleaning tack can be rewarding in their own way. Trentvalley has the expertise and facilities to let every rider experience all aspects of horse care.

We have an excellent set up including indoor American barn stables, hot wash room with heaters, horse walker, 5 schools, all year turn out and fantastic hacking facilities and an on site cafe in the indoor arena.
