Scozia Horse Trekking is a small, bespoke equestrian business based in the beautiful Pentland Hills near Edinburgh, founded and led by Cristiana Messina, a BHS Accredited Professional Coach and Trail Leader. Rather than operating as a traditional riding school, Scozia Horse Trekking focuses on creating calm, personalised and relationship-based experiences that help riders build confidence, understanding and genuine communication with horses.
Scozia Horse Trekking offers a range of services for both adults and children, including horse trekking, hacking, rider improvement sessions, groundwork, horsemanship and stable management experiences. The business also provides educational and mindful equine experiences designed to encourage empathy, responsibility and a deeper connection between horses and people. Young children can enjoy safe and positive pony experiences alongside their parents, while adults are supported in developing confidence and a more conscious approach to horsemanship.
