MA Equestrian

MA Equitation is a small, professional riding school dedicated to high-quality, ethical horsemanship. We specialise in classical, evidence-based equitation and place a strong emphasis on horse welfare, rider education, and creating a calm, supportive learning environment. Our coaching is structured, progressive, and grounded in the First Principles of Horse Training, ensuring that every session is clear, kind, and productive for both horse and rider.

We offer lessons for adults and young people from complete beginners through to experienced riders looking to develop refinement, confidence, and partnership. Sessions include private and semi-private tuition, groundwork, seat and balance development, confidence-building programmes, and equine-assisted wellbeing sessions where appropriate. All coaching is delivered by qualified instructors with strong welfare, safeguarding, and professional standards. Our horses are carefully selected for sound temperament and trained using low-stress, welfare-positive methods that support softness, understanding, and long-term soundness.

Our facilities are designed to promote safety, learning, and a positive environment for both horses and humans. We operate from a quiet, well-maintained yard with an all-weather arena, varied hacking, and safe, high-quality turnout.
