Great Trethew Trekking

Great Trethew Trekking is an ABRS+ Approved Riding School situated just off the A38 on the B3251 with easy access from Plymouth and further down in Cornwall.

A small family-run, 5* rated, Ofsted-registered riding school, Great Trethew Trekking offers pony club, woodland hacks, lessons (individual, group and jumping), pony parties, groom and ride sessions.  We have 30 acres of gardens and woodlands to be able to offer quiet and tranquil woodland hacks, all of which are suitable for children and adults of all ages and abilities.  We are more than happy to ride with the group or alternatively, we will walk on foot and lead children.  We also have an outdoor arena for lessons and coaching.

Throughout the week we support Home Education groups.  These groups are always kept small and teach the children all they need to know in the outdoor environment. Pony club is available every weekend and on several days throughout the week outside of school term.
