Follifoot Park Riding Centre is located on the southern outskirts of Harrogate Established in 1986 we pride ourselves on our friendly staff and efficient service. We place great emphasis on the care of both horse and rider.
Children can start at 4 years old on our half hour classes. As the children’s skills improve they will be able to move onto the next stage of lessons. These lessons work through the ABRS riding and stable management tests A to E.
Under 16’s can join our Follifoot Park Young Riders Club. The Club achieved Club Mark accreditation in 2010.
Adults are welcome to join our group lessons, book a private or semi private lesson or book onto a hack. We have a range of “safe” horses for hacking out.
We also regularly hold Specialist Clinics from: Richard Barton – International Show Jumper, Simon Powell – Dressage coach, BHS II, NVQ Assessor
Here are some other activities we also offer: Competitions, Stable Management, Part loaning a horse/pony, Pub Rides in summer, Kindergarten Lessons, Saturday Morning Club, Hacking, Picnic Rides, Pony Days, Pony Camps, ABRS Tests, Birthday Parties
We have an Indoor Arena with a sand and rubber surface with sprinkler system and viewing gallery. A Charles Britain Outdoor floodlit menage with a sand and rubber chipping all weather surface. A Function Room is available to hire for meetings, etc. Horse walker for 4 horses and

Here at Follifoot Park Riding Centre we are very flexible, if none of the above are of interest to you perhaps you would prefer just to come and sit on a horse for a slow walk around the field! Whatever your goals are, we will try our best to help you achieve them.
