Chesil Equestrian

Chesil Equestrian and Livery Yard was established in 1979. We are a fully insured and licensed Equestrian centre with an outdoor 25 x 40 arena.

We offer a range of lessons to suit all abilities from absolute beginners to those wanting to improve their skills. Our riding lessons are creative and fun, helping to build individuals confidence and group collaboration.  We also offer hacking along the beautiful coastal paths of Portland, with magnificent sea views to Portland Bill.

We provide Equine Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning to individuals and organisations.  This is based at the Farm, where we combine work with our horses with time spent with our Sheep, Goats, Chickens and Geese.

Onsite we also offer Refreshments, a children’s play area and camping at Sweet Hill Farm.
