Manchester Equestrian Centre

Manchester Equestrian Centre is an ABRS+ Approved Riding School and Approved Livery Yard based in Urmston, Manchester. Led by Shannon Young and her team, the centre is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment where riders of all ages and abilities can develop their confidence, knowledge and riding skills. Conveniently located within easy reach of Greater Manchester, the centre combines quality instruction with a strong focus on horse welfare and rider progression.

The riding school caters for both children and adults, with lessons available from four years of age upwards. Riders can choose from individual and group tuition, as well as specialist jumping lessons. Beyond regular riding lessons, the centre offers pony care days, work experience opportunities, training activities and pony parties, encouraging riders to develop practical horse care skills alongside their riding. A team of qualified instructors, including a gold medal-winning coach, supports riders at every stage of their equestrian journey.

As an Approved Livery Yard, Manchester Equestrian Centre provides a range of livery options including full, DIY, working and part livery. Owners have access to excellent facilities including indoor and outdoor arenas with lighting, show jumps, stabling, grazing and hacking opportunities, creating a supportive environment for both horse and rider.
