Against the backdrop of continued closure of Riding Schools throughout the UK, British Equestrian (BEF), working with the British Horse Society (BHS), the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS+), The Pony Club (PC), the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), launched their second national survey on the Health of Riding Establishments early in 2023. The results are now in. Mandana Mehran Pour, Head of Participation at the BEF, will run through the findings, highlight the issues and describe the approach being taken to find solutions.
