Shetland Pony Club Accrediation of Covid Safe Working Practices

Posted on 6th July 2020

We have been delighted that so many centres are taking advantage of the ABRS Accreditation on Covid 19 Safe Working Practices. Shetland Pony Club was one of the first of our approved venues to participate, with the largest number of staff members from any centre taking part in the e-learning course so far.

Shetland Pony Club is the leading provider of Shetland Pony experiences in the UK, uniquely offering: riding, pony parties and a pony share membership scheme for children from age 4 to 10 years old. The ponies are led by trained staff and it is easy for all children to start pony riding with us in the beautiful English countryside.

Owner Rosemary Miller commented: “We are delighted with the support we have received from the Association of British Riding Schools in certifying our centre in COVID-19 Safe Working Practices.  The e-learning training on Exiting Lockdown has been particularly valuable to ensure that our team members have a good understanding of how to be COVID-safe, before they return to Shetland Pony Club to complete their training. Safety is our number one priority, and demonstrating that we have robust and verified procedures in place will help give our customers and staff confidence in exiting lockdown safely.”

Shetland Pony Club will reopen soon with a revised programme of pony riding for children.
