We are very pleased to announce that Jane Williams took over the role of Chair on 8 October 2019, after the previous Chair, Hannah Mays, stepped down at the end of her tenure.
Jane has sat on the ABRS Board of Trustees for several years and says,
“I am honoured to have been appointed as Acting ABRS Chair. It will be business as usual with our ABRS members at the heart of the organisation.
We plan to focus on continuing to deliver trusted advice and services to aid our members in running a successful business.”
Jane’s background is leading the people side of businesses both large and small, and she is a Fellow of the CIPD and a Chartered Director. Jane is looking forward very much to her new role and believes that the ABRS has so much it can offer riding organisations.
The ABRS would like to wish Hannah a long and happy retirement, after putting her personal aspirations on hold for several years to assist the ABRS.
Hannah goes into her retirement with an enormous amount of gratitude from the current ABRS Board of Trustees for all her hard work as Chair.
