2020 has been a challenge for many schools, but we are delighted to look forward to a busy and prosperous 2021.
While not everyone is feeling motivated at the moment, keeping your existing clients engaged is vital to the development and growth of your business.
Here are a few ideas to implement alongside your own marketing strategy.
Share a Pony. This can be successful whether rolled out for a day/week/month/six months. Allow your clients to spend more time with, and bond to, their favourite horse/pony. By using set hours/days this is a great way to increasing client engagement.
Hold training courses. Whether this is Rosette Awards, Certificates, educational/stable management days/evening or formal CEIC training these all bring footfall and clients through your door. Announce the dates for the coming few months and get your clients to pre-book so that they have something to look forward too and you have an additional steady stream of income.

Keep your social media active. Features such as ‘pony of the week, ‘challenge of the week’, ‘exercise of the week’, fun facts about your horses, clients, coaches are all great engagement topics which keep your clients commenting and interactive on your social media channels.
Assess your client communication channels. Alongside social media also consider e-news (with client’s permission). A system such as Mailchimp can be really useful to personalise your messaging.
In addition posters/leaflets around the yard of any upcoming dates and events can prompt clients to book in while they are there.
Ensure that your imagery and content reflects your branding and the ethos of your yard, team and clients.
