One of our members, Barnwell Equestrian Centre near Newquay in Cornwall, is helping make horse riding more accessible for local children and families thanks to Chloe Tinson.
We would like to commend Chloe for this innovative approach. Her Free Riding School Initiative uses monetised social media content to fund free lessons for those who might not otherwise afford them.
What They Are Doing
- Running the Free Riding School Initiative to give children and families access to riding.
- Using social media to showcase how riding builds confidence, wellbeing, and life skills.
- Promoting inclusivity in the equestrian community and encouraging other centres to start similar schemes.
- Sharing regular updates, behind-the-scenes content, and educational posts, including horse care and welfare tips.
What They Have Achieved So Far
- Raised £1,150 through monetised social media content.
- Provided 24 free riding lessons to date.
- Built partnerships with local supporters and businesses committed to widening access to equestrian sport.
- Increased awareness of the value of supporting local, inclusive riding schools.
