🌿 Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

Posted on 27th April 2026

11–17 May | Theme: Action

Mental Health Awareness Week is a key moment for our sector to come together and show the difference riding schools make every day.

🌱 Why This Matters

We all know riding schools are more than places to learn, they are vital community assets supporting mental wellbeing through connection, routine, time outdoors, and the unique bond with horses.

So it’s essential that we use this week to advocate to government, demonstrating the real, measurable impact our centres have and helping to protect the future of riding schools.

πŸ“£ Get Involved All Week

We’re encouraging all ABRS+ centres to share content throughout the week on social media using the hashtag #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and tag British Equestrian on your social channels too for a chance for some reshares!

It’s a chance to showcase any case studies demonstrating how your yard supports mental health and wellbeing within your community.
