ABRS on the BBC talking about the impact of lockdown on Riding Schools

Posted on 21st January 2021

We were delighted to have featured on the BBC World TV and BBC One to talk about the financial impact of the pandemic on riding schools, livery yards and trekking centres.

Jane covers many important facts including how difficult the third lockdown is for centres during the most expensive time of the year with insufficient funds being provided by the government. She explains why it is so important that as a nation we don’t lose our centres and questions what would happen to 30,000 horses if riding schools cannot survive.

Several of our members have asked for the link to watch the interview back, follow the link below and forward to 21 minutes 41 seconds.

You will need to sign in to  BBC iPlayer and have a TV licence to watch.
