New CIEC Level 1 Course Dates Announced

Following the stoppage of our CIEC (Certificate in Equestrian Coaching) courses due to Covid, we are delighted to announce the resumption with our first course being held this month at Santolina Stables in Surrey.

The Equestrian Coaching Certificate pathway endorsed by UK Coaching and provided by 1st4Sport is a standardized approach across equestrian disciplines and focuses on the coaching craft in the context of equestrianism.

The Dates are as follows:

Induction Day
27 September 2021

Attend the induction day, meet your instructor and discover whether this is the path you wish to follow & whether you are ready to participate in this course.

Course Dates
4 October 2021
11 October 2021
18 October 2021

Assessment Day
25 October 2021

This qualification will qualify you to operate as an equestrian coaching assistant in the general riding environment. You will be able to support other coaches to deliver and evaluate coaching sessions. You will be qualified to work alongside other coaches in an assistant role and will form part of a larger coaching team.

As you complete the qualification, you will learn what the role of a coaching assistant is, what will be expected of you in this role, and what the boundaries of this role are. You will also develop your coaching skills and learn how to deliver pre-planned coaching activities that are safe and effective.

The cost is £750 per candidate (£100 deposit required to secure a place)
