The objects of the
ABRS Approval Scheme are:
1. To provide members
of the public with information where, in the opinion of the Association,
good riding instruction can be obtained and to provide an accurate
description of the facilities offered by each approved school. 2. To assist in
raising the standards of riding instruction, horsemastership and
horsemanship by visiting and assisting riding schools. 3. To provide an
advisory service to Riding School Proprietors and to give publicity to
their business in the Association Handbook. Details of
subscription and optional joint membership fees for two partners on
application. Each partner has full membership rights. A discount is
allowed on renewal, if this is paid within one month of receipt of the
subscription notice.
Subscriptions run from 1st April to 31st March.
Subscriptions are:
One member: £205.00 including VAT
Two partners: £220.00 including VAT
Inspection fee: £100.00 including VAT
Benefits to be gained from membership:

Regular newsletters
Association plaque may be displayed
Association logo may be used on letterheads (bromides available), etc.
Availability of all pamphlets published by the ABRS
Association badges available for re-selling to clients
Full voting rights
School listed in ABRS Official Handbook which has a wide circulation
School listed on the ABRS website
Your school's clients eligible to take
Equitation and Stable
Management tests.
Reduction on fees at Conferences and information days organised by ABRS
Eligibility to partake in bulk purchase schemes for wormers, equipment, vet supplies and
insurance
Other marketing initiatives as they become available
