Chair
A passionate advocate for the equestrian industry, Jane became Acting Chair of the ABRS+ in 2019 and was confirmed as Chair in 2021. She is widely recognised for her leadership in steering the organisation — and much of the riding school sector — through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tirelessly representing the industry, Jane became a familiar voice on national radio and television, championing equestrian centres and the people who make them thrive.
Jane attained her BHSAI in 1982 and previously competed regularly for the Langshot Riding Club in dressage and show jumping, and in Affiliated Dressage to Medium level. Beyond her professional and equestrian commitments, Jane has a deep interest in politics, sport, and the arts. A regular speaker at professional forums, press contributor, and qualified coach, Jane continues to inspire others through her commitment to excellence and her vision for a sustainable, inclusive future for equestrianism.
