Located in Sheffield, Parklands Arena is a long-established, family-run equestrian centre with over 40 years of experience in providing high-quality riding instruction and equestrian services. As an ABRS+ Riding School Member, the centre combines extensive facilities with a strong reputation for developing riders of all levels in a professional yet welcoming environment.
Who Are We
Founded by Robert and Ruth Sampson, Parklands has grown from a local riding school into a thriving equestrian hub while maintaining its strong family values. The next generation continues to play an active role, including international showjumper Matthew Sampson, reflecting the yard’s commitment to progression and excellence in the sport.
The centre supports a wide range of riders, teaching hundreds of clients each week—from complete beginners through to advanced riders developing flatwork, jumping, and dressage skills.
