Hall Farm Stables

Hall Farm Stables is a small, friendly and professionally run riding school and livery yard set on 35 acres in Waterbeach, just north of Cambridge. They offer riding tuition for all abilities — from complete beginners to advanced levels including Prix St-George and NVQ courses — delivered by experienced, BHS-qualified instructors who share a passion for horses and horsemanship. Lessons include private sessions, group coaching in spacious floodlit all-weather arenas, and scenic hacks through the local countryside.

The ethos at Hall Farm Stables centres around correct, confident and enjoyable riding. Every rider begins with an assessment lesson, ensuring they’re matched to a well-schooled schoolmaster and placed in the right group or individual programme to progress safely and effectively. Instructors place strong emphasis on seat, position and balanced riding — believing that good fundamentals build both skill and confidence.

Alongside excellent tuition, the yard provides a variety of livery options in a relaxed and welcoming environment with extensive grazing and two outdoor arenas including a judges’ box. Hall Farm prides itself on high standards of yard management, horse care and welfare, a friendly atmosphere and a supportive team ethos where both horses and riders feel well looked after.

As an ABRS+ Approved Riding School and Livery Yard, Hall Farm Stables demonstrates its commitment to welfare, safety and continuing professional development. Their membership reflects adherence to recognised best practice in teaching standards, horse management and client care — giving riders and owners additional confidence in the quality and integrity of the services they provide.
