This is an exciting time to get involved with The Association of British Riding Schools+, which is a registered charity at the heart of Riding and Equestrianism. We act as a professional association for Riding School and Equestrian Centre Owners, promote their interests and raise standards of equine welfare, client and people care through training, advice, our helpline . We are developing the service and benefits to members.
To strengthen the Board we are seeking to recruit a new Trustee as our representative in Scotland who love horses, and who would enjoy contributing to a thriving equine industry.
We are particularly interested in those with the following expertise: a passion for the equine industry, alongside skills in leadership, education, training, fundraising, advocacy, finance, or business development. Experience in supporting rural communities, building partnerships, or championing the equestrian industry in Scotland would be especially valued.
Board meetings are held virtually, or in London, other time commitments will include working from home on particular projects. There are virtual Board Meetings monthly requiring a regular time commitment. Although this is a voluntary position trustees can claim reasonable expenses.
