Help Shape the New Equestrian Sustainability Hub

The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) is developing an exciting new Sustainability Hub – a free, practical resource designed to support equestrian businesses and individuals in making environmentally responsible choices.

A key part of the hub will be real-life examples from yards and riding establishments that are already taking positive steps.

We’re asking our members to share any practical sustainability initiatives you’ve implemented, such as:

• Renewable energy (e.g. solar panels)
• Rainwater harvesting or water-saving systems
• Manure management solutions (e.g. worm digesters)
• Biodiversity projects (e.g. wildflower margins, hedgerow planting)
• Waste reduction or recycling initiatives
• Any other innovative or cost-saving environmental measures

Whether your project is large or small, if it’s working for you, it could inspire others across the industry.
