The ABRS+ is thrilled to announce Dane Rawlins as our keynote speaker at the ABRS+ Conference
Dane Rawlins is a British-born dressage rider who began his equestrian journey at a London inner-city riding school, a formative experience that shaped his lifelong commitment to accessibility and inclusion in the sport. He went on to represent Ireland at the highest levels of international competition, including the European Championships and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
A pioneer in equestrian development, Dane founded Dressage at Hickstead and co-established the British Young Riders Dressage Scheme (BYRDS), mentoring generations of riders. He has trained Olympic athletes, judged internationally, and served on the boards of Dressage UK, Dressage Ireland, and the International Dressage Trainers Club.
His keynote will explore ethical training, horse welfare, and the evolving role of riding schools in modern equestrianism—drawing on a career that began in the heart of London and reached the global stage.
