Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre

Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre is family-run, professional riding centre situated inner city, just off the M61 in Bolton, Greater Manchester. We have been operating for over 25 years to provide fun, welcoming and progressive horse riding experiences and education to our riders.

We believe horse riding as a sport is more than just what happens in the saddle, and offer our riders the full horsemanship experience. Starting from the ground up we encourage our riders to help us build our brilliant RFEC community and are passionate about a comprehensive, empathetic approach to horsemanship.

Our riders build brilliant relationships with our horses and a lifelong learning journey to enjoy horse riding. RFEC was started to improve accessibility to the equestrian sport and communities for everyone that wants to experience it. We are primarily a grassroots centre and run regular Beginner Riding courses and introduction sessions to welcome riders from complete beginners to professional career pathway training on a bespoke basis.

We have excellent facilities including an indoor arena, 2 outdoor arena,  and a Full Jump4Joy show jump course.  We can provide riding hats, were needed, and our arena have a spectators’ area.

We offer individual, group, jumping and cross-country lesson, and provide beginner’s courses.  Our minimum age in 5 years old.

Our livery offer has various options to suit your need, including working part, assisted DIY and schooling livery.  Livery owners have access to all our facilities and hacking is available.  In the summer 24 hour turnout is available; in the winter, this is restricted to turnout at weekends only.
