We are sad to inform our members of the passing of one of our valued members – Sylvia Stanier.
Sylvia Stanier, who has died aged 91, was a gifted and versatile horsewoman whose numerous accomplishments included schooling the black mare Burmese for the Queen to ride at the annual Sovereign’s Birthday Parade celebrated by Trooping the Colour. Sylvia rode Burmese at rehearsals for the parade.
Sylvia was an incredible lady who is greatly missed by her family and friends.
