ABRS Letters to Prime Minister and First Ministers

Posted on 19th January 2021

The ABRS is acutely aware of the financial stress that our member riding school, trekking and livery businesses are facing. The Chair of the ABRS, Jane Williams, has written to the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales, Nicola Sturgeon and Mark Drakeford, seeking to ensure that riding businesses are financially supported, through business grants and continued small business rates relief, until better times return. The ABRS knows that riding business face high fixed costs maintaining both their four and two legged members of staff across the winter months. The full text of the letters can be found below. We will let you know of any responses we receive.
